Did anyone else catch that during the trial, there were discussions about how Kenneth Murphy managed to purchase the gun so easily despite being 18? I feel like this aspect didn't get enough attention. It's really unsettling to think that someone that young could access a firearm just days before such a tragic incident. I can't imagine the pain Christopher's family went through, knowing his life was taken under such senseless circumstances. It really makes you wonder about the regulations in place for buying guns and if more stringent checks could prevent similar tragedies. Thoughts?
