I’ve been following Darryl Curry's case, and something that really sticks with me is how he was just trying to visit his grandmother when this tragedy struck. It's devastating to think about what his family must be going through, especially someone as important as a grandmother who he clearly cared about enough to visit. You can’t help but feel for her, knowing he was just a few steps away from her home, of all places, when his life was taken. I wonder how that tight-knit community around North 6th and Fern streets is coping, knowing it could happen so close to home. With no arrests yet, I can't imagine the fear and pain his family must feel every day, hoping for some answers. Sending out positive thoughts for peace and justice for Darryl, and hoping anyone out there with information decides to come forward soon.
