I've been following Corey Hill's case and can't help but think about the role community involvement could play in shedding light on what happened. It's incredibly daunting to think of how many families are waiting for answers, and Corey's is just one among so many. I truly believe that a stronger partnership between local residents and law enforcement could make a difference. Often, people in the neighborhood might know something significant but are hesitant to come forward due to fear or distrust. What can be done to foster a sense of trust and safety so that those with information feel comfortable speaking up? Losing a loved one leaves a void that can't be filled, and I can’t imagine the pain of waiting for justice that seems so elusive. Thoughts and insights on what can be done to build these crucial bridges would be appreciated.
