Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Shannon Abdul-Rahim, and something's been on my mind. I can't stop thinking about the location where this tragedy took place—5800 W. Thompson St, Philly. Does anyone know if there's been any subsequent work done in that area to improve safety? It would be such a reassurance to Shannon's friends and family, and to the community, if measures were taken to prevent violence like this from happening again. It's troubling to think that a place can suddenly become a marker of loss for so many. If anyone has info or thoughts about changes in that neighborhood since 2017, please share. I think a lot of us could use the peace of mind. Thanks.
