I recently came across John Scott's case and noticed something that hasn't really been discussed much—the presence and importance of community support during such a difficult time. Even though there was no investigation or foul play involved, losing someone suddenly is devastating for family and friends. It’s clear from the obituary in the Delaware County Daily & Sunday Times that John was cherished and had a significant impact on those around him. I bet the gathering at Temple Baptist Church wasn’t just about saying goodbye but also about coming together, possibly sharing stories and memories to keep his spirit alive. I hope his family found some comfort in that support system. It just reminds me of the strength found in close-knit communities during times of loss.
