Just finished reading some details about the Tracy Williams case, and my thoughts are with his family and friends who are left to cope with this unimaginable loss. It seems like he was a well-loved guy, passionate about cars and bikes, and it's devastating to think about how quickly life can change due to such violence. I found myself really struck by the accounts of the sentencing. It's complex, especially when you consider both the impact on Tracy's family and the statements from Shawna Lacoste's friends. It seems like there were so many emotions in that courtroom from both sides. While justice might have been served in the eyes of the law, I’m left wondering how all involved are picking up the pieces now. It’s so important for the community to continue to offer support to both families as they move forward.
