Hey everyone, I’ve been following Dusten Toschlog’s case for a while now, and something struck me about the location where his truck was found. Old Fort, NC, seems a bit off the beaten path, especially if no one knows why he’d travel there. Has anyone dug into whether there were any reports of unusual activity in that area around the time he disappeared? I’m wondering if there’s more to the location than meets the eye. Could it have been a place Dusten was familiar with, or was there something specific drawing him there? Maybe a connection someone might not have picked up on yet? Also, has anyone considered if the store behind which the truck was found had surveillance cameras? It’s strange that his truck was left like that without a trace of him. Any thoughts?

Has anyone else been following the Dusten Toschlog case closely? Something that’s been bugging me is the fact that his Chevrolet was found in such a random location in Old Fort, NC. It's not exactly on the way to any major city from Kingsport, TN, and leaving it parked behind a convenience store just strikes me as bizarre. Was this area known to Dusten, or completely random? There haven't been any reports of surveillance footage from around where his truck was found. Does anyone know if this spot was checked for camera footage, or if there's any residential or store security that might've been overlooked besides the convenience store? I can't help but wonder what was going through Dusten's mind that morning, and why he ended up in that specific part of North Carolina. Any locals with info about the area or possible reasons someone might stop there would be super helpful to hear from!

Hi everyone, I've been following Dusten Toschlog's case for a while now, and something that keeps catching my attention is the location where his truck was found. It was parked in Old Fort, behind a convenience store. Why there? It's quite a detour from Kingsport to end up in Old Fort without a known reason or connection to the area. Did anyone check if there were surveillance cameras at or near that convenience store back in 2014? Or maybe if any employees remembered seeing him or the truck? It feels like there might be some answers there that could piece together what happened in those early hours before he vanished. Any locals with insights on that spot or its surroundings would be incredibly helpful in understanding why Dusten's trail ended there.
