Hey everyone, The Finocchiaro case still keeps me up at night thinking about how horribly wrong things went for those young men. I can’t get over how trusting Dean must have been to get into that car. It’s chilling to imagine how he just thought it was another day, maybe picking up something to hang with friends, and couldn’t have known the real intentions hidden behind the smiles he probably encountered. This case really got me thinking about the innocent ways people get drawn into dangerous situations, especially when they're just trying to navigate that confusing phase of young adulthood. It's so easy to judge with hindsight, but remembering Dean as a young guy, full of life and potential, helps me feel closer to him and his family’s pain. We often forget how these simple decisions shape everything. My heart goes out to his loved ones. They had to deal with such intense pain from something so senseless. Does anyone else feel this way when reading through the details of what happened? It just makes you want to reach out and hold your loved ones a little tighter, doesn't it? Be safe, everyone. ❤

I keep thinking about Dean’s friends and family and the sheer horror they must have experienced during those agonizing days he was missing. Imagining the gut-wrenching moments of uncertainty before the awful truth came out is just too much. From everything I've read, Dean seemed like a genuine young man who didn’t deserve any of this. It’s heartwarming to see how the New Hope community rallied around his family during this nightmare. The stories of how they supported each other, whether through vigils or just being there for one another, show incredible strength and unity. It reminds us all of the power of community during unimaginable times.
