I keep thinking about that poor baby left alone in the crib. It's unsettling to imagine their world instantly changing like that, without any understanding. I genuinely hope that Heather and Dawayne's families found a loving and supportive environment to care for the child. It’s heartening to see how, in the aftermath of such unthinkable violence, family and community often rally together to give kids a sense of stability and warmth. While justice unfolds for Heather and Dawayne, it’s crucial we don’t lose sight of the little one who has endured more heartbreak than anyone that age should ever know.
