I was reading about Aaron Searight's case again today, and I can’t help but feel so deeply for his family, especially his brother Kamal. Kamal’s strength to speak out about Aaron’s role with the youth in Philly just shows how big of a loss this is for everyone around him. It's utterly devastating that someone with such a profound impact on his community was taken in such a senseless act of violence. Aaron's dedication to helping kids through his work with the School District really got to me. The people he mentored must be feeling his absence so strongly. I hope the unheard voices from that night gather the courage to speak up soon. Every tiny detail might help crack this case wide open. This unsolved mystery is a constant reminder of the urgency with which we need to address gun violence. Aaron deserves justice, and so does his community. If you know anything, no matter how small, please reach out to the authorities. Let's not let Aaron’s story fade into the background. ✨
