Hey everyone,
I recently came across Quasier Burley's case and felt compelled to share my thoughts. The footage that shows those three young men fleeing the scene really got me thinking. Do you all think there's any chance they were just scared and didn't want to get involved, or could they have actually played a part in this terrible incident? It seems like they might hold crucial information that could help bring some justice to Quasier and his family.
It's just so frustrating that a promising life like Quasier’s was taken over something that started as a simple basketball argument. I can only imagine the pain his family and the community are going through, especially since he was such a positive influence with his efforts in promoting peace.
Does anyone have any updates on whether these individuals have been identified or questioned yet? Hoping there’s some progress soon, as the family truly deserves closure.
Stay safe, everyone. ?
I've been following the story of Quasier Burley, and my heart goes out to his family and friends during this difficult time. It's incredibly distressing to think how an argument over a simple basketball game could escalate to such a tragic outcome. What really stands out to me is the role sports play in keeping kids like Quasier engaged and off the streets, making his loss feel even more profound.
I've been thinking a lot about his coach’s words, describing him as a role model for younger kids in the community. It makes you wonder about the ripple effects on those kids who looked up to him. The loss of a mentor can be so destabilizing for young people trying to find their way.
I really hope those responsible are brought to justice soon. The whole situation is just another painful reminder of how much work needs to be done to address the root causes of violence affecting our youth. My thoughts remain with the Philadelphia community rallying after this loss.
