I just can't stop thinking about how young Ruban DeJesus was. He was only 17, just barely out of childhood, and it's hard to wrap my head around that. It seems like a lot of these tragic incidents involve young people getting caught up in situations that spiral out of control. My heart goes out to his family and friends; they must be going through so much, trying to deal with this senseless loss. The mention of Kaishan Hudson in the investigation is troubling. It's frustrating that someone who was involved in setting up the robbery hasn't faced charges, while the family is left seeking justice for Ruban. This whole case reminds us how crucial it is for communities to come together and look out for each other, to try and prevent these tragedies before they even have a chance to happen. The pain that comes with losing someone so young never fully goes away, and it leaves a deep impact on everyone involved.
