Has anyone else been following Willie Motley's case? I can't stop thinking about how difficult it must be for his family and friends to still be looking for answers after all these years. I read that this happened in the Lamphere area of Detroit, which has seen so much violence. It's frustrating to see how many cases go cold because of the lack of witnesses willing to step forward. I completely understand why people might be scared to talk, but I hope the community realizes how important their input is for bringing closure to families like the Motleys. Has anyone heard if there have been any recent developments with the cold case efforts using new DNA technology? It gives me some hope that maybe there can still be justice for Willie and the countless others lost in that backlog of unsolved cases.
