I’ve been following Jojo’s case closely and something that’s really been on my mind is how his passion for music touched so many people. I’ve read online about how he used to bring his guitar to family gatherings and play songs he loved. It’s just a small piece of who he was, but it reminds me how vibrant he seemed to be, spreading joy with every note. I can’t imagine what it’s like for Lucy and Makell to lose such an incredible dad, someone who undoubtedly instilled in them a love for creativity and expression. It’s these little stories and memories that show us the beautiful parts of his life, beyond the tragedy. I hope his family continues to find pockets of comfort in these memories. For anyone attending the hearings, do you feel that court proceedings have been respectful towards Jojo’s family? I’m hoping that justice for Jojo doesn’t just end with a conviction but also with empathy for those who are grieving him. Sending strength to everyone impacted by his loss.
