I've been following the case of Emily Winburn, and something that strikes me is how communities can become hotspots for tragedy. I live in a different state, but Exeter seems like such a small and quiet place. It's shocking to think something this tragic could happen there. It reminds me that no matter where we live, these tragic events can impact anyone, and my heart goes out to those in Exeter who are going through this. I'm interested in how local law enforcement manages these types of investigations in smaller towns. Do they get extra support from state resources, or is it mainly handled locally? It would be reassuring to know that every effort is being made to get to the bottom of what happened that day. Emily deserves that much, at the very least, and her family deserves answers. It's frustrating to wait for updates when you know so many people are hurting. Sending love and strength to everyone involved.
