I was reading about Damar Wilson's case and was struck by the area where it happened—11th and Kerlin Streets. Does anyone familiar with Chester know what that neighborhood is like? I’m not from there, but I’ve seen reports suggesting it's a rough area with a history of violence. It makes me wonder if this was a random act or if it was somehow linked to ongoing issues in that community. It’s so tragic to see this happening and even more frustrating knowing there's been little progress in finding out who was responsible. My thoughts are with Damar’s family and friends as they deal with not only their grief but the unanswered questions surrounding the investigation. Hopefully, someone with information will step up soon.
