I was thinking about the peculiar circumstances around Melissa’s disappearance and her decision to leave her friend's house on foot in the middle of the night without any of her belongings. It seems so unusual, especially considering the rural and potentially dangerous area. Has anyone looked into whether she might have had a medical condition or been under any sort of distress that could have influenced her decision? It's strange to me that she would leave without shoes or her purse. Sometimes people make impulsive decisions in altered states, maybe that could offer some clues into why she left and what happened afterwards. What do you all think could explain her choice to head out at such an odd time?
