I’ve been following the tragic case of Tayvonne Avery's murder, and my heart truly goes out to his family and friends. What strikes me is how the community has been rallying together in the aftermath. I read that Chester High School’s basketball team decided to play their game in honor of Tayvonne and Edward despite the heartbreak. It must have been an incredibly emotional moment for everyone involved. Sports can be such a powerful way to heal and unite people, and I think it’s really meaningful that they came together to honor their teammates in that way. It’s moments like these that shed light on the strength and resilience of a community. I really hope the increased community engagement will bring forward some vital leads in this case. Thoughts are with the families and the Chester community. ??
