I've been following Khalil Simmons' case for a while now, and it just baffles me how not a single arrest has been made after all this time. Thirty spent shell casings were found at the scene! I'm no detective, but that sounds like there was a lot of potential evidence. Maybe there were multiple firearms involved or possibly more than one person. I keep thinking someone in the neighborhood must have seen or heard something that night.
It's so frustrating to see a talented person like Khalil, who had such a positive influence on young people, become a victim of violence, and yet nothing concrete seems to have moved the case forward. I can't help but think of his family and friends who are left in limbo, not knowing who took Khalil from them and why. If anyone has any info that could help, it's so important to bring it to the authorities. Khalil and his loved ones deserve justice and some measure of peace.
