Did anyone else read about Albert's case this weekend? It breaks my heart to see another promising life cut short. I was struck by how much Albert had accomplished at just 27—graduating with a business degree and ready to join the electrician's union. It seems like he had such a bright future ahead.
I came across some comments from his mom, Oddess, and it’s clear how much he meant to his family. Just can't imagine the pain they're going through right now. It's so frustrating that no arrests have been made yet. I hope with the community's help, the police will get the information they need to bring those responsible to justice. If anyone here is from Philly, maybe spread the word? Let’s get the story out there and hopefully reach someone who knows something.
Hey everyone,
I've been following Albert Thomas Lee Jr.'s case, and it just doesn't make sense to me how no arrests have been made yet. I was reading about how he was set to join the local electrician's union right after graduation. It's just so tragic to see someone with so much potential taken away like that. He was really trying to build a stable future for himself.
What's even more baffling is that, despite this happening in a public area, there seems to be a lack of leads. It's like, how does something this horrific happen in broad daylight with no one stepping forward with information? I can't imagine what his family, especially his mom, is going through right now. She seems so determined to find justice for him, which is completely understandable.
If anyone here is from the Philly area or has any tips for getting more engaged in community safety efforts, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Maybe together, we can keep talking about Albert's case and bring it the attention it deserves.
Stay safe, everyone.
I’ve been following Albert’s case for a while now, and one thing I keep coming back to is the location. For anyone familiar with Point Breeze, you might know that 17th and Wharton isn't exactly the safest area, particularly over a holiday weekend. It's deeply unsettling to think about the kind of environment where such a tragic event could unfold. Albert had just so much ahead of him, and it feels incredibly unjust for a promising life to be cut short due to these circumstances.
I walk past this area often and can't help but think about Albert and others like him who have been affected by gun violence. It’s so frustrating that no arrests have been made yet. If anyone in the community knows anything, even the smallest detail could make a difference. My thoughts are with Albert’s family, especially his mom, Oddess. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to not have answers. Let's keep sharing his story in hope that justice will be served.
