It is sad there is such a lack of media coverage for this young man. How do we keep people from falling through the cracks? It takes work and dedication many times pressure from family and the community to prioritize a case. How can we do that for Aliek?

The absolute best way to prevent falling through the cracks is to talk about the case. Even when it hurts to remember, even when it seems no one is listening. The case must be discussed, otherwise it can easily become overshadowed. Someone knows something, but that person may not know about this website. That person may also not realize they even have valuable information. Before I was cognizant of this website, I didn't know anything about solving cases. I've learned alot already. I suggest reaching out to a podcast or even a crime solving YouTube channel. That will enable whoever has information to recognize his face and recall memories, hopefully.

Hey everyone, I'm new here but I’ve been following the case of Aliek MacK-Shabazz Hooks. Something that’s been bothering me is the lack of media coverage. Given the tragic circumstances and the heartache both families must be feeling, it’s surprising that we haven't seen more attention from national outlets. It's almost as if this story got lost in the shuffle, and I can't help but wonder if more coverage could generate new leads or tips.
We need to find ways to keep this case in the public eye. More coverage might encourage someone who knows something to speak up. Media can be a crucial tool in unsolved cases, and it feels like the community could benefit from a bigger spotlight. What do you all think? Any ideas on how we might bring more attention to this case? Aliek and Zimal deserve justice, and their families deserve answers.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Aliek MacK-Shabazz Hooks and the more I think about it, the more I can't help but focus on the community's role in potentially solving this tragic loss. It's incredibly frustrating knowing that two young lives were cut short on that night, and yet there are still no answers.
I've read a lot about the impact community involvement can have in these situations. It's often a small detail or a tip from someone who might think their information is insignificant that really makes a difference. With the case being over three years old, I'm hoping somebody who might have been afraid to speak up at the time will feel more at ease to do so now. The pain for Hooks' family and friends must be immense, and I can't even begin to imagine what it's like not having closure.
If you were in the area or have any memories from that night, no matter how small, please consider reaching out to the authorities. Every piece of information counts. It's up to all of us to help break this case open and bring some measure of peace to those who loved him.
Stay safe everyone.
