I can't stop thinking about Michael's story and how tragic it is to lose someone who was just out trying to buy a firearm to protect himself. It's awful that what seemed like an ordinary interaction turned into such a terrible situation. The trust he and his friend must have had getting into that SUV only makes the betrayal even more gut-wrenching. My heart goes out to his family and friends who knew him as a warm and caring person who spread positivity and had so much potential. I hope that they can find some peace knowing that the perpetrators are facing justice, but I know it can never truly make up for their loss. Does anyone have any other insights into how his family is coping or involved with the community in his memory?
