Has anyone else been following the details surrounding Salim Ellis's murder? It's just so incredibly sad to think about how his family and friends must be feeling, still awaiting answers after all this time. I found myself really wondering about the role of community organizations in cases like this. Salim was part of the Philadelphia City Rowing community, and I can't help but think of how important these groups are, not just for the positive impact they have on young people, but also for how they rally together in times of grief. I've read about other cases where local groups helped keep pressure on investigators or organized events to honor victims and raise awareness. Does anyone have more insight into how communities like Salim's rowing team are involved in the ongoing efforts to find answers? I think encouraging and maintaining this kind of support can be so crucial in unsolved cases. My heart goes out to everyone who's been touched by Salim's life and loss.
