There's been a lot of discussion around the suspects arrested in Kenny Keng Dang-Le's case, but I wanted to bring attention to the location where this tragedy unfolded. East Letterly Street, where Kenny was shot, has been known to have its share of violent incidents. I can't help but think about the impact of living in such an environment for people in that community. Does anyone here have more insight into what the neighborhood dynamics were like at the time? Was there an increased police presence before or after Kenny's death? I really hope the city is taking steps to create safer spaces. My heart goes out to Kenny's family — losing someone so young is devastating, and it's crucial we look into how these areas can be improved.
