I've been digging into the Lucille Grenz case from 1962, and something that stands out to me is the timeline of when the police got involved. It's strange that it took a couple of days for law enforcement to be notified after Lucille didn't come home. I get that she had a history of leaving without a word, but with a missing mattress and blood evidence that came to light later, I can't help but wonder if those initial days could have been crucial in piecing things together. Anyone else think there's more to the delay in reporting? Maybe someone didn't want the police involved right away? It feels like a case where the smallest overlooked detail might hold the key.
