I’ve been following the Walner Torres-Santana case closely, and something that really hit me was how quickly things can spiral out of control. It's haunting to think that a disagreement led to such a tragic outcome. It makes you wonder if this whole situation could've been avoided with a different approach. My heart goes out to Walner’s loved ones who have to navigate life without him now. I also find the actions of Roland Pena quite puzzling. Trying to flee to New York so abruptly feels so desperate. How does a person prepare to walk away from their life entirely? It's chilling but also so incredibly sad for everyone involved. This case really does make you reflect on the long-lasting impacts that spur-of-the-moment decisions can have on so many lives.
