It’s truly distressing to see yet another young life lost to gun violence in our city. I've been following some of these cases, and Devonte Hunter’s story particularly struck me. I read that he was found in a black Nissan Altima on Ogontz Avenue. What’s baffling is how crowded that area usually is around that time. It just makes me wonder if anyone saw or heard anything unusual that night. The neighborhood often has people around, even after dark, so I keep hoping someone might come forward with even the smallest detail. It’s such a painful reminder of how urgently we need changes to prevent these tragedies from continuing. My heart goes out to Devonte’s family and friends, who are surely enduring unimaginable pain as they wait for answers and justice. Hoping more people will speak up and help piece together what truly happened to him.
