I've been following the case of Tommie Frazier III and remain deeply moved by what his family and friends are going through. It’s hard to imagine the pain and loss they must feel every day, and the young lives that have been taken away so senselessly. One thing that stood out to me is how the community came together for the vigil—to celebrate his life and call for change. It's a testament to how loved Tommie and Kaylin were. I’ve seen people organize fundraisers and initiatives to keep their memories alive and address the gun violence tearing these communities apart. It's so important to keep the conversation going and push for change to prevent more tragedies. Does anyone know if there are ongoing community efforts or organizations where people can get involved to help combat gun violence in Philly? Let's hope Tommie's story continues to inspire efforts towards peace and safety.

I can't stop thinking about the impact this has on our community, especially for Tommie's friends and family. Being so young and having such a bright future, Tommie's loss is felt deeply by everyone who knew him. The vigil showed just how much he was loved, but it also highlighted the painful reality of gun violence in our neighborhoods. It's infuriating and tragic that it takes something so devastating for conversations about change to gain traction, but we have to keep pushing. No parent should have to endure what Tommie's and Kaylin's families are going through. Their legacies deserve to be more than just memories of a tragic day. Anyone else in Peoria feel like this has to be a turning point for us?
