Does anyone else find the lack of physical evidence in William Johnson's case incredibly frustrating? I mean, it's 2011, and you would think that some reliable evidence would have been preserved or discovered back then. It's tough enough that this poor man's case has gone cold, along with so many others in Detroit, but it just seems like they had very little to go on from the start. I can't imagine the pain that his family must feel, waiting for any answers for so many years. I'm hoping the cold case unit will manage to use new forensic tech to their advantage here. Have you all noticed any success stories regarding old cases in Detroit being solved recently? Maybe there’s something to learn from those, hopefully it’ll help turn the tides for cases like William’s.

I’ve been reading up on a lot of these unsolved cases in Detroit, and what happened to William Johnson really sticks with me. It's just another reminder of how many families have been left without answers for years. It's frustrating to think that the shortage of police resources and large caseloads might have been part of why this case hasn’t been solved yet. But I was wondering, has anyone heard of any community efforts or local groups that have been successful in rallying attention for cases like William’s? It seems like the more support these cases get from the public, the better the chances of getting witnesses to come forward. Maybe newer cold case units could be the key to finally getting some movement on these cases, but it feels like the community could really help in these efforts too. My heart goes out to William's family and everyone else still waiting for some kind of resolution.
