I was reading through some of the details surrounding Lisa Lewandowski's murder, and I can't stop thinking about the time of day it happened. It was around 5:05 p.m., a time when people are usually just coming back home, maybe greeting neighbors, and kids are playing outside. It’s unsettling to think that violence could strike in what should be a safe space—a front porch.
From what I understand, the neighborhood of Kensington has had its challenges, but this incident really highlights the deep-seated issues that need to be addressed. It's a community filled with wonderful people like Lisa, who was so committed to helping others. Her efforts to improve the neighborhood make this even more senseless.
