I was looking through maps and trying to wrap my head around the route from Anchorage to Seward. It's a good 125-mile stretch on the Seward Highway, which I know can be pretty remote in parts. I'm curious if anyone knows of any specific spots along that route where someone could veer off or if there are areas with bad cell service where he could've lost contact? Also, are there any known construction zones or delays that might have forced him to take an alternate path? It seems like such a long and lonely road - I just hope someone comes forward with more info soon.
Hey everyone, I've been following the case of the missing repairman from Anchorage, and something has been bugging me about the timeline. If he was last seen heading towards Seward for a motor part, couldn't there be surveillance footage or toll booth records along the highway that might provide clues about his whereabouts? Even just identifying his vehicle's route could help narrow down the search area. Has anyone else looked into this or heard anything about what the investigators are doing in this regard? I'm hoping they'll share some findings soon. Thoughts?
Has anyone else thought about the possibility that something happened to him on the road to Seward? That drive can be pretty treacherous, especially this time of year. It seems odd that he wouldn't even call or send a text if he was delayed getting the part. Could he have broken down or had an accident somewhere isolated? If anyone is familiar with that route, maybe keep an eye out for anything unusual. Hopefully search efforts start focusing more on the road itself—it's a long drive with lots of spots where a vehicle could easily go unnoticed. And does anyone know if there are cameras or traffic reports that might shed some light on his whereabouts during the drive?
