Seeing news about Lafayette Holt's case just breaks my heart. It's a small comfort to know that an arrest has been made, but it's so hard to understand how these tragedies can happen in the first place. I'm hoping that justice will be served for Lafayette and his family. I can't imagine the pain and frustration they're going through, waiting for answers and a resolution. It's important that we keep bringing attention to cases like Lafayette's, because every victim deserves to be remembered and every family deserves closure. Does anyone know more about community efforts or vigils being held in his memory? I'd love to support in any way I can.
