Did anyone else attend the vigils held for Samuel in the weeks following his tragic death? I was able to make it to the one held near City Hall, and it was incredibly moving to see so many people come together to honor him. It's clear that Samuel touched countless lives, both at Temple and in the broader community, with his passion for service and activism. The energy in the crowd was a touching reminder of how loved and respected he was. Despite how difficult this time must be, I'm truly inspired by how his friends and family have channeled their grief into advocating for justice and carrying on his legacy. The support and unity at the vigils really highlighted how a shared commitment to change and remembrance can bring people together. For those who may not have been able to attend, you could feel the hope for a better future in the air. It's comforting to know that Samuel's spirit lives on through all of us who will continue his fight.
