I’ve been researching cold cases lately, and I stumbled upon Kimberly Cozart's disappearance from 1977. I'm trying to make sense of why both she and her mother, Joyce Harper, weren’t reported missing until 1995. That’s a staggering gap of almost 20 years! Did the rest of their family assume they had just moved away, or was there something else going on? It's puzzling to me how such cases slip through the cracks for so long. If anyone has insights into why families might delay reporting missing persons under similar circumstances, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
