I’ve been reading about Francis Schmidt’s case, and something really puzzles me—the disappearance of his car. In most missing person cases, you usually get some clues like the vehicle being found abandoned somewhere, but for both Francis and his 1978 Buick Regal to disappear without a trace? It's almost like something straight out of a movie! It just makes me wonder if maybe they should have expanded the search beyond the Garden State Parkway. Could the car have taken an unexpected route? Or did someone else take the vehicle after something happened to him? It’s been more than forty years, and I can't help but think there might be someone out there who remembers seeing that white Buick on that September night. Anyone else have thoughts or theories about this?
