I was reflecting on the effect this has had on Bartram High School students and it's just so devastating. Imagine being in school, thinking about your exams or hanging out with friends, and then hearing that a fellow student, Christopher Braxton, was shot on his way home. I can't even begin to comprehend the fear and anxiety that must have swept through those halls, especially knowing the suspect is still out there. Lockdowns are supposed to be drills, not real-life horrors. It must be so difficult for the students and teachers to try and find some sense of normalcy after something like this. My heart really goes out to Christopher's friends and classmates. If there's any positive that can come from this, I hope it encourages more discussions on how schools and communities can work together to prevent these tragedies. Please, if anyone has information, even if it seems small, come forward. We owe it to him and his family to get answers.

Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Christopher D. Braxton, and it's really hard to wrap my head around this senseless act. I heard some people discussing the surveillance footage the police are hopeful about, but I'm wondering how effective it might really be. Does anyone know if the area around South 66th Street has a lot of cameras? It's tragic to think that Christopher's family is going through this nightmare without any answers yet. I'm hoping the footage will provide some sort of lead for the investigators. Can anyone in the community shed some light on how reliable these surveillance systems usually are in these kinds of cases in Philly? My thoughts are with Christopher's friends and family during this incredibly difficult time.
