The fact that it was discarded hints at some kind of struggle or desperate situation. I can't imagine how terrifying those last moments must have been for Maurice. My heart goes out to his family and friends, who are left with so many unanswered questions. I really hope that more evidence comes to light soon, and someone is held accountable for this senseless act. Has anyone heard anything more about potential leads or suspects?

It's so sad to think about the impact this has on Maurice's family and friends, especially when communities face uphill battles. My heart goes out to all who knew him.
