I've been following the case of Jordan Simpson, and I can't help but think about the frustrating struggle of those left in the aftermath. Jordan seemed like a genuinely good person with so much to offer, not just in his passions like cooking or his clothing brand, "Legendary Gas Smoke," but in how much he clearly meant to his friends and family. It's so sad to think that all this potential was ripped away due to senseless violence. What really gets me is the call for community involvement by the police chief. I wholeheartedly agree with the chief on the importance of conflict resolution and community surveillance. It just makes me wonder, though, how many more families have to suffer before real change takes place. I'm sending all my love and strength to Jordan's family and friends. They deserve answers and justice for the immense loss they've endured. If you're in the area or know anything, please do the right thing and help find the closure this community desperately needs.
