I’ve been following the case of Paris Glover and Avante Donovan Booker and can't stop thinking about how things could have been different. It’s haunting to think that such a needless act of violence happened in a place meant for new beginnings—a home under renovation. There’s something so unsettling about a house that’s supposed to become a safe haven being the scene of such tragedy.
I keep wondering about the contractors working on the house and how they must feel now. Did they notice anything unusual leading up to the event? Maybe even something minor could help detectives. It’s a reminder of how community spaces can change so quickly from places of growth to sites of terror.
Sending my deepest condolences and hoping that anyone with even the smallest bit of information can step forward. The fact this happened to such young lives just starting out is a heavy weight for anyone to bear, especially for families and friends searching for answers and closure.
I haven't stopped thinking about the abandoned house on Midland Street where this all went down. I mean, how does a place in the middle of renovations become the scene of such a tragedy? It's terrifying to think that something like this could happen in our own backyard. The renovations probably stirred up some interest, but it makes you wonder how Paris and Avante ended up there. Was it a meeting gone wrong, or were they simply in the wrong place at the wrong time? My heart aches for their families and friends who are left with more questions than answers. I hope someone comes forward with information that can bring justice to these young men and some peace to our community. It’s unsettling not having any clues about who might've done this or why.
