Just saw this case about Stephan Bates, and it's weighing heavily on me. I can't believe his body was left on that sidewalk for hours. It's heartbreaking to think about how his daughter and other family members must feel knowing he was there for so long. It makes me wonder what might have happened differently if the response had been quicker. I've read that sometimes police resources can be stretched thin, but this feels like a significant oversight. I hope the internal investigation brings some clarity and improvements. Holding space for his family during this incredibly difficult time, and hoping they get the answers and accountability they deserve.
