I can’t stop thinking about Damon's friends and family who must be going through an incredibly tough time. Imagining getting that call and dealing with the aftermath is just unimaginable. I came across a tribute someone shared online and it was clear Damon was deeply loved and cherished. It makes me wonder about the impact he had on those around him and how his absence is likely felt every day. It's so important to keep discussing these cases to honor the memory of the victims and support those left behind. Does anyone know if there’s been any move for a community vigil or something similar to celebrate his life?
I've been following Damon Smith's case closely, and something keeps bothering me about the day of the incident. Does anyone else think it's odd that the crime happened in broad daylight? I know Point Breeze isn't exactly the safest neighborhood, but you wouldn't expect something this bold at that time of day. It almost feels like whoever did this had no fear of being seen or caught, and that worries me for those who live nearby.
