I can't help but wonder if anyone's ever looked into whether Clyde Bowman might have had a medical emergency that day. The Salmon National Forest can be so unforgiving, especially back in the early '80s when rescue operations weren't as advanced. Could he have had a heart attack or another sudden medical issue while out there? It might explain why there were no signs of him found at all. It's just a thought, but it might be worth discussing or even re-examining older evidence with today's technology if something wasn't considered before. It's been such a long time with no leads, and it's always those little overlooked details that sometimes crack these cases wide open.

Was anyone else struck by the lack of any evidence left behind in Clyde Bowman's disappearance? It’s puzzling how someone could vanish so completely without leaving a trace. Given the dense terrain of the Salmon National Forest, you'd expect at least some clue - a piece of clothing, equipment, anything that could lead searchers in the right direction. Did he have any recent injuries or ailments that might have affected his ability to navigate the wilderness? It’s been so long, yet I keep thinking there must be something we’ve missed. If anything new ever comes to light, it’d be worthwhile for search teams to revisit the area, maybe with updated tech like drones or heat detection. I hope one day there are answers. Thoughts?
