I’ve been following the case of Damien Jackson, and I keep thinking about that social media aspect. It's striking how someone who was so vibrant online can be gone so suddenly. People often show only parts of their life on social media, and maybe that's why it's hard to reconcile the joyful person Damien seemed with the tragedy that unfolded. It puts into perspective the fact that we never truly know what's happening behind closed doors. I feel for his family and friends who must be grappling with this dual reality — the Damien they knew and the events leading to his death. It must be incredibly difficult for them to process all this, especially with the conflicting stories being told. I hope for their sake that the truth comes to light soon.
