I’ve been thinking a lot about the surveillance footage that the police are reviewing in Daniel Ruley’s case. It’s mind-boggling to me how someone could just vanish after committing such a heinous act, especially when considering how many cameras are around in most neighborhoods these days. I really hope that law enforcement is getting some useful leads from the footage, but it's terrifying to think about how easily this individual slipped away. Ruley’s completely innocent and didn’t deserve any of this; neither did his family. As a father, you can really feel the weight of loss for his kids, growing up without their hero. It’s one of those cases that, if you’re local, makes you double-check your surroundings a little more often. I can’t begin to imagine the impact this has had on his family and friends. Sending lots of strength to them during this incredibly difficult time and hope for some breakthroughs soon. If anyone here hears of updates, please keep sharing. This family deserves justice, and the community deserves peace of mind.
