Been thinking a lot about the role of community involvement in solving cases like Walter L. Lyons III’s. It's devastating to see another life taken too soon due to gun violence in Philly. I can’t help but wonder how many people might have witnessed something or know more than they’re sharing. It’s so important for neighbors and bystanders to come forward with any details, even if they seem insignificant. Every piece of information could be crucial. The reward offered by the city might encourage some people, but I hope it’s the weight of compassion and a desire for justice for Walter and his family that drives folks to speak up. Anyone else from Germantown noticing any increased police presence or community meetings about this issue? Seems like coming together as a community could really make a difference. Walter and his family deserve answers and closure.
