I’ve been following the case of Akwame J. Anderson, and it still bothers me that there hasn't been any progress in identifying the shooter. I can only imagine how this lack of resolution is impacting Akwame's family, especially his young daughters. I attended the memorial service, and it was a touching tribute that truly highlighted the love Akwame shared with everyone in his life. It’s clear from the stories shared that he was a dedicated father and a loving son and brother. I sincerely hope the community can rally together and provide any information that might help the York City Police solve this case. If anyone knows anything, no matter how small, please consider reaching out. Justice for Akwame is long overdue, and his family deserves closure.

It's been a year since Akwame Anderson's tragic passing, and I'm still haunted by how little progress seems to have been made in this case. I can't help but think about his daughters, Aniy'lah and Zoh'laysha, growing up without their dad. It's so important for them to know that their father’s life mattered and that justice can be served. I wonder if there are others in the community who knew Akwame or witnessed anything that night but are too scared to come forward. The silence in these cases is deafening, and it leaves a terrible cloud over York. If anyone is hesitant, I hope they remember how it could bring some peace to Akwame's family and maybe even help prevent future tragedies. I keep an eye on updates but haven't heard anything new lately. If you’re local or have been following closely, have there been any whispers or updates that might have flown under the radar? Sending strength to Akwame’s loved ones as they navigate this difficult time.

It's devastating to hear about what happened to Akwame on Wallace Street. It's just so important for us as a community to stand together and support his family as they navigate through this difficult time. I can't even begin to understand the pain his daughters must be feeling, growing up without their dad. It's just too much. I sincerely hope that anyone with information feels compelled to reach out to Detective Baez, even if it seems minor—it could be the piece of the puzzle needed to find justice for Akwame and bring some peace to his loved ones. Let's do what we can to support them and push for answers. Rest in peace, Akwame.
