Does anyone know more about the evidence process in the Rasheed Robinson case? I understand they recovered two cell phones, and I'm wondering how crucial this was to the investigation. With all the technology these days, I'm curious about how law enforcement uses phone data in cases like this. It’s chilling to think about how manipulated Deja might have felt with those texts trying to force her to change her statement. The fact that the phone data also placed Rasheed at the crime scene is a turning point in this investigation, I think. I'm grateful to the detectives for piecing everything together to help secure justice for Deja. Her family must be going through an unimaginable time, and my heart goes out to them. If anyone can share insights on how detectives use digital evidence in their investigations, I’d be really interested to learn more.
I've been following Deja Monae Lewis's case ever since it made the news, and I keep going back to the bravery she must have shown in the face of such a terrifying situation. It's devastating to think that someone she knew and perhaps trusted was capable of such violence. What strikes me the most is how she was willing to stand her ground and not back down on her statement against Robinson, even though it put her at risk.
It’s a sad reminder of how important support systems are for people in situations like Deja’s. I'm curious if there were signs of distress or danger that may have gone unnoticed. Sometimes the people involved are so good at hiding what's really going on, but it makes me think about how we, as a community, can be more vigilant and supportive. If anyone has ideas or thoughts on how to better support potential victims before something so final takes place, I'd love to hear them.
Thinking of Deja and her family, hoping they find peace and healing in the aftermath of all this.
