Hi everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Demetres Lewis, and something that really stands out to me is the strength and courage of his family during this incredibly difficult time. It’s unimaginable what they must be going through. Losing a loved one so suddenly and in such a violent way is something no family should have to endure. I've read that the community in York is coming together to support them, which is truly heartening. It's a small comfort, but knowing that the community is rallying around them must mean a lot. I can't help but think about the impact of violence on families and communities, and how important it is that justice is served. My thoughts are with the Lewis family and all those who knew Demetres. As we wait for further developments in the case, I hope they find strength in each other and the support of their community.
