The detail that's been haunting me is why someone would target Montez in broad daylight like that. It's terrifying to think about the level of boldness and lack of fear these attackers showed. My heart goes out to Montez's family and friends who are left to wonder why this happened to someone they loved. Also, I'm really hoping the woman who was with him is recovering, both physically and mentally. I can't imagine being in her position. It's crucial that the community rallies together to share any info, even if it seems insignificant. Sometimes the smallest piece can be a major lead. Keeping the pressure on to find these guys is key. Here's hoping they’re brought to justice soon.
I've been following the investigation into Montez Jackson's tragic death, and something that's been weighing on my mind is the time and location this happened. 1:45 p.m. is broad daylight on a city street, which makes me wonder if there were any surveillance cameras nearby. Given how common they are these days, it feels like there should be at least some footage that could help identify the shooters.
