Did anyone else find it odd that Joan’s nightclothes and a high-altitude map were the only things missing? The detail about the map has always intrigued me. Why would she need a high-altitude map in the middle of the night? Especially when all her personal items were still in the cabin. It's almost as if she planned to leave on foot or was taken to some remote location where a map like that would be necessary. Given her health issues, it’s hard to imagine she’d go anywhere without her medication unless it was completely unexpected or she was coerced. Does anyone know if there were any hiking trails or secluded spots nearby that she might have been aware of? Wondering if there could be a connection between the map and the noises heard that night. Would love to hear anyone else's thoughts on this aspect of the case!
